Each year of Summer Bloodfeast offers an outlet
for artists to showcase their work. This year is no different. Look
for updates to be added to this page over the next couple of months
while the spaces are filled.
Shane Trotter

In late 2000 Shane founded a little
video webzine called Box-13.com to showcase material from
bands in his home area of Spartanburg SC. About a year into
the site he introduced another of his hobbies to his home
region with a small photography concept that got a huge response.
The concept was Graveyard Girls, which finally evolved into
it's own website at graveyardgirls.net.
Shane has watched Night of the Living
Dead one too many times, likse to look at women in graveyards
posing with stones, and takes absolutely nothing very serious.
Any complaints (or people offended
by this event) should kindy point your attention to this guy,
as he is also the primary organizer of the Summer Bloodfeast
event.

Erodios Photography
|
Erodios Photography is a loose confederation
of two photographers, a few models and a guy who occasionally
carries our gear. Founded with idea of photographers
and models as a partnership, they see every shoot as a chance
to learn, have fun and annoy the local authorities. We
focus on shooting real people in real settings. They
enjoy working with models of all shapes and all sizes, in
settings where the models live, work and play.
In the “as if you cared file” : They have done some
minor local art shows, had work used in a few obscure
magazines, and shoot some events you probably would rather
not try to explain to your Grandmother

Expressions By Envy

Expressions by Envy photography started
off after Miss Envy had full figured modeled for a few years
and decided to jump behind the camera. Still doing side modeling
to maintain her site, she is focused more on producing erotic
and artsey photographs. Expressions by Envy will be returning
to Bloodfeast for the 3rd time to show off her goods.

Justin Kates
|
Justin Kates is a professional photographer
and cinematographer based out of Charlotte, NC. He is the owner
of independent FE Studios as well as the multimedia director
for Single Cell Productions.
Over the past 5 years, Kates has built
quite an impressive resume working with countless established
models, artists and events. His photography has been featured
in several international publications and has been displayed
at many events, trade shows and art expos throughout the southeast.
His talent for cinematography has been
showcased in many independent films as well as the forthcoming
"Purgatory" documentary, which is currently in post-production.
He has also worked with several bands,
including established acts "Diverje" and "The
Graveyard Boulevard", both shooting music videos and providing
cover art and interior art for CD's & DVD's.
Recently, Justin Kates has continued
focusing on his many mediums of art and gained much notoriety
when he placed 6th overall for "best photographer"
in the 2008 Bondage Awards.

Marilyn Chen
|
Marilyn Chen is an Atlanta based artist
and curator. She studied painting at the Atlanta College of
Art and and graduated with a BFA from SCAD- Atlanta. Marilyn's
work has been exhibited at Eyedrum, MOCA, MODA, The High Museum,
as well as various alternative art spaces. Marilyn is interested
in issues that revolve around women, addiction, sexuality, violence,
and dream psychology through the medium of painting, photography,
installation and alternative media.
